Narcotic Dependence

Nearly two million Americans suffer from addiction to narcotics, which include substances ranging from heroin to prescription painkillers such as Vicodin, Percocet, and Oxycontin.

Suboxone is a highly effective medication administered to treat these addictions, in conjunction with counseling. Suboxone prevents withdrawal symptoms and suppresses cravings for narcotics.

Narcotic Addiction & Pregnancy

We combine our dual specialty in addiction medicine and obstetrics-gynecology to care for pregnant women seeking treatment for their narcotic addictions. Our doctors work with the patient’s obstetrical team throughout the pregnancy and assist in pain management during labor. We also provide expertise for the care of babies in the neonatal intensive care unit after delivery.

Alcohol Addiction

We offer outpatient treatment for alcoholism, combining psychological counseling with oral and/or injectable medications. We also provide guidance to patients attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
